Contact Restfulness Journey

If you have a question about nutrition, sleep, or a topic you would like us to cover, use the form below or the office details. Questions from readers shape what we write next, so we read all of them.

Reader questions

Ask about building a balanced meal on a budget, sleep hygiene habits, or where to start with fatigue and dietary diversity. Specific wording gets a specific answer.

Topic suggestions

Tell us what is missing from our nutrition and healthy sleep coverage in Botswana. Reader notes have already shaped pages on food prices and portion sizes that fit local staples.

Corrections

Spot a page that no longer matches what you see on the ground? Name the page and what looks off, and we will check it against current guidance.

Send a question or topic suggestion

The form takes your name, a way to reach you, and your message. Be as specific as you can. A question like "How do I eat well when mealie meal is the only affordable staple near me?" is a far better prompt than "nutrition tips", and it is the kind of wording that turns into a full page.

We are an editorial desk, not a clinic. The more context you give about your household, budget, or the sleep and fatigue habits you are working with, the more useful our reply can be.

Your name, email and message are used only to reply to you. See the Privacy Policy for how messages are handled.

What happens after you write

Messages land with the editorial team that writes this site. There is no call centre and no queue of agents reading from a script. One of us reads your note, and it is sorted into one of three outcomes.

Some questions become new articles, especially when several readers ask the same thing. Some get a direct reply. If a question needs new writing, we will tell you that it is on the list rather than leave you guessing.

The third outcome is a correction. If your note shows that a page on this site is wrong or out of date, we revisit it and say so on the page itself rather than quietly editing it.

Direct reply

A short answer to your specific question, sent back to you.

New article

The question becomes a page written for everyone facing the same situation.

Correction

Older guidance is checked and revised, with the change noted on the page.

What we can and cannot help with

The honest boundary, so you know where to take the next question.

How to build a balanced meal on a tight budget

Sleep hygiene habits that fit a small household

General guidance on fatigue and dietary diversity

Where to read more about a topic we already cover

Whether a page is still current and who wrote it

Diagnosing a condition or interpreting lab results

Prescribing, adjusting or advising on medication

Individual diet plans for one household member

Those last three belong with a registered dietitian, your clinic, or another qualified health professional who can see you in person and take your full history. General guidance from this site is a starting point, not a personal plan.

Feedback on a specific page

If a page does not match what you are seeing on the ground, tell us which page and what is off. Reader notes have already led to revised guidance on food prices around Lobatse and on portion suggestions for households cooking for more than one generation.

Helpful notes name the page, what you expected, and what you found instead. A local price you paid, the season you bought it in, or a habit that does not fit your household is all useful. That is how nutritionist-led guidance stays tied to real shelves, real markets, and real cooking.

For schools, clinics and community groups

If you run a nutrition programme, a school feeding scheme, or a community workshop in Botswana and want to use material from this site, write to us with the name of your organisation and how you plan to use it. Tell us whether it is for a training session, a printed handout, or a talk, and roughly how many people will see it. We are glad to help where the use is non-commercial and educational, and we will point you to the pages best suited to your group.

Finding the office

The editorial office sits in Khama Avenue, a short drive from central Lobatse. If you are visiting in person, come during weekday hours and ask for the editorial desk at reception. Please do not travel to the office for a medical question — the team here writes and edits, and cannot see you as a patient.

Before you write

Three questions come up often enough that they are worth answering here, so you know what kind of reply to expect from an editorial desk rather than a clinic.

How quickly do you reply?

Usually within a few working days. Complex topics that need new writing take longer, and we will tell you if your question is becoming an article so you are not left waiting without an answer.

Do you give individual nutrition plans?

No. We offer general guidance only, written for a wide readership in Botswana. For a plan built around your own health history and household, see a registered dietitian or your clinic, who can look at your full picture.

Can I ask about a medical condition?

You can, but we will not treat it, diagnose it, or advise on medication. We may write about the general nutrition angle behind the question for everyone reading, and we will always suggest you speak to your health professional first.

Will my name appear anywhere on the site?

No. Questions can inspire a page, but we do not publish the names, emails or phone numbers of readers who write in. If we quote a scenario, we describe the situation in general terms rather than identifying who asked.

Still wondering whether to write?

If a question has been sitting with you after reading a page here, that is exactly the kind of note we want.
